WISDOM’S INVITATION

Proverbs 8:1-36

Introduction:

In Proverbs 8, wisdom is personified as someone calling out to us, inviting us to listen. Wisdom is presented as something available to everyone- A gift from God that we can seek and find if we truly want to. The passage shows us that wisdom is calling us from everywhere, (at the crossroads, at the city gates, and on the heights) trying to get our attention so we don’t miss out on what truly matters.

Today, as we look at "Wisdom's Invitation," we see that wisdom is not just for the wise or the perfect, but for anyone who is willing to listen and follow. It’s a heartfelt call from God, urging us to seek Him and His ways. This message is for all of us- To open our ears, our hearts, and our lives to the wisdom God offers. It’s an invitation to choose the right path, to live in a way that honors God, and discover the true life He desires to give us.

1. Seek wisdom’s call.
