Text:

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not true I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU.

3. AND IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

NOTES: Caught up, not called up.

Together with them.

Ever with the Lord.

How easy is it to forget heaven?

We can be so busy doing God’s work that we forget His promise?

I ponder eternity?

We can get so busy in daily living that we forget heaven. Christians that lose their vision of heaven will allow life to become a burden. REMEMBER HEAVEN. DON’T FORGET HEAVEN!

The last words of a man named James D. Burns were these:

I have been dying for twenty years,

now I am going to live!

(Wow, what faith!)

I love the little story of these wiggle worms that had been friends for a long time.

The one wiggle worm was older than the other. These wiggle worms had often had friends that just disappeared, with no explanation --- many had just vanished and was gone.

One day the two super close friends made the deal, they would never leave the other without telling the other what had happened or where they were going.

One night the older wiggle worm felt strange and changes were coming over him. The sun came over the hill, and the wiggle worm had changed and was now above the water, a flying insect.

He knew this was why he had been born, not to wiggle and struggle in the water, but to fly on the wind. He was so enjoying his new life, when his promise came to his mind.

He flew back over the water, he could see his friend swimming with great effort against the stream. He knew his friend was looking for him. The beautiful, flying, dragon fly could not yell loud enough for his wiggle worm friend to hear him.

So the colorful dragon fly flew off in his new form, and he could not tell his young friend trapped in the water, that he should not dread the changes that were coming ahead.

The dragon fly knew someday his friend would change just as he had and they would be together flying in great freedom.

WHAT IS A MIGHTY OAK TREE?

JUST A NUT THAT STOOD IT’S GROUND!

If God, our Father, has designed to touch with His

Divine power the cold, dead, pulseless heart of a

buried acorn, surrounded by dirt and moisture;

and make that dead acorn burst out of the brown

prison walls that have contained it;

into a new life as a mighty oak tree.

Then we must have hope these bars of bones will give

release one of these days!

Will God neglect in the earth the soul of a man made in His own image? As the Father touches the acorn, may He so touch us again, and remind us of heaven!

Think of stepping on a shore, and finding it heaven!

Of taking a Hand, and finding it the Hand of God.

Of breathing a new air, and finding it celestial air,

Of feeling invigorated, and finding it immortality,

Of Passing from storm and tempest to a broken calm,

Of waking up, and FINDING IT HOME! (unknown)

Wow, we do have a hope out of this world! This world is not my home, I am just passing through.

This world is but a TESTING ZONE, we are in a test, this is only a test ... HANG ON A LITTLE LONGER.

Dream again.

Focus on the cross!

We are born for a higher destiny than this old world. The realm where the rainbow never fades, and roses will have no thorns, and the promise becomes reality, this is just ahead. Where those gone on before, have become shadows in our memories, the day dawns where God’s presence shall ever rule our hearts.

We can be eternally bankrupt and forfeit any hope of the path that leads us above and beyond what these bars of bones confine us to be.

Death is but translated into the heavenly language LIFE! The Hope beyond all fears is the foundation that on the third day Jesus came forth in victory and we to shall come forth to ever be with the Lord.

Man’s life is not as a little candle that some wind can blow out at death.
