Acts 9:36-43 King James Version (KJV)

36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.

43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.

Hallelujah beloved!!!! We serve a God who through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ has won victory over the enemy for us, such that we are free from the bondage of sin and death.

Glory to the King of kings who through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ has given us the power and authority we need to move, take over and occupy till the second coming of Jesus.

Beloved , these that He has given to us are to be used for the benefit of Christians and this world so that many would see His mighty and great works that He has done with us, as tools in His hands and turn to Him to worship Him.

When they see these miracles, signs and wonders they should be directed to the Almighty such that they get to know Jesus, know the work of Jesus on the cross, repent, believe on Him, accept Him as their Lord and Personal Saviour, get saved and become children of God.

The early Apostles handled this, very well and we are to do same in this day and age.

Beloved, let our actions and deeds and all we are made of lead people to Jesus; especially the exhibition or use of the power and authority of God Almighty given us.

Beloved, what we carry is not just for fun, it's for a purpose and the purpose is to push the Kingdom Agenda to win souls to Jesus.

*ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Let's acknowledge this and live as such to fulfil the purpose of God for us in Jesus name.

Prayer: Father, may I live my life and exhibit your power and authority in a way that will cause many to believe in you and seek your salvation in Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
