-We were condemned by our own sin.
-Jesus came to take away our sin so we could have
eternal life.
II. There was a great plan.
-Romans 5:8 But God commended His love toward us
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
-The plan began with God’s great love toward us.
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the
propitiation for our sins.
-God’s plan includes you.
--You have a great need
--Jesus died for you!
-His plan
--Jesus would live a perfect life
--Then die on a cross or pay for your sin.
-Your part is to simple believe Him
