Who Wants..to Be A Millionaire?

Who wants to be a Millionaire?

Who hasn't ever thought about making a lot of money..

Or who hasn't ever wished they would hit the lotto..

When it was a couple of hundred million dollars?

Even if your the most adamant against gambling..

Who hasn't thought about how they would spend the winnings..

would it be a lump sum or an long term payout and who they would Bless with whatever taxes didn't take??

Truth is..while a million dollars is a lot of money

It's a self imposed limit..when it comes to the Blessing

that God wants to Flow in, around and through your life...

and whether it would be one, ten, or a hundred..

There is nothing impossible..when you put your complete faith and trust in Him!

John 1:16-18 MSG

We all live off his generous bounty,

gift after gift after gift.

We got the basics from Moses,

and then this exuberant giving and receiving,

This endless knowing and understanding—

all this came through Jesus, the Messiah.

No one has ever seen God,

not so much as a glimpse.

This one-of-a-kind God-Expression,

who exists at the very heart of the Father,

has made him plain as day.

God wants to pour out His blessing and favor upon you each and every day.

and whether we notice it or not.."HE DOES!"

Psalms 68:3,4,19 NKJ

3. But let the righteous be glad;

Let them rejoice before God;

Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.

4. Sing to God, sing praises to His name;

Extol Him who rides on the clouds,[a]

By His name YAH,

And rejoice before Him.

19. Blessed be the Lord,

Who daily loads us with benefits,

The God of our salvation! Selah

It says that He daily loads us with benefits!

let them rejoice exceedingly.

4. Sing to God, sing praises to His name;

We of all people..should be happy!

Each and everyday..there's another load of Benny's

and Have we done anything to deserve them?..

"NO" but that doesn't stop them from coming and being there

each and every day..

And whether we acknowledge them or not..

Doesn't change the fact that there real and tangible..

And that they exist each and everyday for us to enjoy..

Amen?

So..why in the world aren't more people happy?

Everybody knows that money doesn't buy happiness..

And while having money can be considered a blessing..

we're not just talking about money

We're talking about the blessings of God..

and Gods Blessings are all encompassing..

they are all inclusive and made up of anything and everything

and not limited to anything..but Gods imagination..

which knows no limitations

So many people miss out on all that God has for them because they are weighted down by the world and the drama of life...

Some people almost feel guilty when they have been blessed,

Now..who do you suppose would want to make you feel that way??

We know it certainly wouldn't be someone who was intentionally trying to make benefits and blessings available to you each and every day for your enjoyment

But yet..most people feel that way..

They'll say something like..it must be nice to have a new whatever..

Almost like they expect you to defend Gods generosity..

Proverbs 10:22 RSV

The blessing of the Lord makes rich,

and he adds no sorrow with it

Go ahead and tell them it is!

It's wonderful..it's amazing..you should try it sometime!

You can you know..

Because Jesus makes it possible for all to enjoy

Gods Generosity! Amen?

And not that Gods generosity..needs defended

But what an better opportunity to tell them and the world for that matter..

"about how good God is, and how good He is to those that serve Him"

Did you know..a lot of people are mislead and don’t really know how Good God takes care of His own.

Tell them it doesn’t have anything to do with how good you are, but everything to do with how good He is.

Notice what today’s verse tells us about where His blessings come from— they come from the fullness of His grace.

Here's how Webster defines Grace

A gift of God to humankind: in Christianity, the infinite (that means unending) love, mercy, favor, and goodwill shown to humankind by God 3. freedom from sin: in Christianity, the condition of being free of sin, through repentance to God.

God’s grace comes to us..by His unmerited favor..

And that means we can’t earn it..

We can’t work for it..

we can’t change His mind about it, even if we tried.

He pours out His blessing on us not because of what we do, but because of who He is.

Did you know..a lot of people have a problem with God and giving,

But you see their misguided..

they think that all God ever wants, is for them to give.
