ROMANS 8 :9-11

Who Christ has made you ....NOW

1. Now... you have been justified

Romans 5: 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

I hear Christians use term “Saved” a lot.

“Are you saved?” “He died but, he was saved”

I often wanna ask, “SAVED FROM WHAT?”

Answers: “From my Sin” “From Hell”... Those are true

But The main thing you were saved from was.... GOD’S WRATH

Missing Hell is awesome... Hell Can’t hold a candle to God’s Wrath

The only way to be spared from someone’s wrath...MAKE THINGS RIGHT

When Christ Died... He made things Right... Right between us and God

When You accept Christ...YOU BECOME JUSTIFIED...MADE RIGHT

Justified- JUST AS IF I’D NEVER SINNED

I know Christians Trying to get their life right...So they can go to church

NOW..... YOU HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED

2. Now...you have been delivered from the law

Romans 7: 6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

What is the Law? 613 laws give to Moses on Sinai. THE BIG TEN

I know Christians trying to live every day following the 10 Commandments

You’ve been delivered from the Law...Bro Shane I don’t wanna be

When You become a Child of God... YOU DON”T NEED THE LAW

You have the HOLY SPIRIT LIVING IN YOU... You don’t need a law

Christ died so you didn’t have to obey tablets of stones...

Christ died... So you could have a relationship with HIM.. LIVE LIKE HIM

Galatians 2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing

The law will tell you, you’re DIRTY... ONLY CHRIST CAN CLEAN YOU UP

AARON STORY— ONLY THE FATHER CAN CLEAN UP THE MESSES

3. Now... there is no condemnation

Romans 8: 1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

It doesn’t say there in now no... CONVICTION..... We can get better/ GROW

THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION.

The only person looking for a reason to disqualify you..... IS YOU

God is for you... He Loves you... He cares...

He weeps...He rejoices

When you’re his KID...

You never have to feel ashamed again

Convicted... Sure Condemned... NEVER

4. Now...you are Children of God

1 John 3: 1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Make sure you understand the relationship...

He is not GAWD...JE...HO...VAH...THE ALMIGHTEEE LORD

HE’S DAD... He’s your father... God wasn’t satisfied with us being Lawkeepers

He didn’t want Law Keepers,

He didn’t want Church Goers...He wanted kids

We are part of the FAMILY OF GOD

The Lord’s Prayer, “OUR FATHER”

We’re all Brothers and Sisters
