When Over To The Other Side!

“1And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.2And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,3Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:4Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.5And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.6But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him” Mark 5:1-6

You did not just wake up one day and become what you are. You had to pass through certain stages of development and learning. All the years you were going through were times of serious learning. All you are able to do now is a direct or indirect result of what you went through in life. For the past days we have been taking of crossing over to the other side in life. Now I am talking about being over to the other side as I wrap this crossing over issue.

Serious point to note: These articles are not news neither are they fairy tales but they are real and rooted in the infallible word of God. They are not just one of the motivational material neither are they ‘make you feel good stuff’. After reading through you must be changed. Your life has to move from very far away from evil and safely land in the hands of God. If you are a sinner and unsaved you should be saved, if you are saved and living not to your calling you should be able to be changed as well. In whatever form or state you are in your life has to change in the positive direction. It’s my prayer that anyone who reads these articles be transformed and drawn closer to God more than before.

Some may be wondering what is meant by crossing over to other side. The bible tells us that we moved from death to life by the forgiving of our sins on the cross of cavalry. We crossed over to the other side. The bible also says we move from glory to glory in Christ Jesus. We cross over to the other side. Crossing over here simply means moving from one position, area, region, level to another level. We as children of God move from low to high, high to higher, higher to highest we have and must move forward and never backwards, upwards never downwards, positively never negatively. Thus in your life you need to cross over to the other side which is better than where you are now.

When the disciples and Jesus came to the other side of the sea there was great work for them. It did not take time for them to be busy. Just when they landed there was legion who needed to be freed. These fellows had learned to break common and natural barriers .The journey was tiresome, with storms but they did not consider all that. They went straight to work on legion. These guys learnt never to give excuses when faced with serious business of God and life. They mastered this before they crossed over. The situation they were faced with needed an incomparable character. No man could bind legion, many had tried with fetters and chains but that was a waste of time. If Jesus and the disciples were copy cats they could have tried to bind him with ropes or fetters and chains as well in vain. This is the reason why you have to incomparable. Legion who used to be wild have to bow down and worship Jesus the Master of all things.

If you read further you will discover that He spoke to the evil spirits in Legion .This will tell you that if you speak they will hear .The spirit were sent into the pigs and two thousand of them perished in the sea and When this happened Storms rose. Jesus was told to leave that area that day by the owners of the pigs and people of that area. It needed faith and fears for the disciples and Jesus to deal with the people in that area. They did leave though but not in fear. Legion wanted to go with them but the disciple’s right sized their luggage and told him to go back to his family and declare the goodness of the Lord. Sometimes you need to leave some people, habits, materials, companies for their good as well as yours.

There is great work for you but the requirement is that you first cross over to the other side. There are certain things you need to see and have buts it’s only possible after you have crossed over. The process of crossing over will train and equip you in what you will face and accomplish. Abraham could not be blessed until he crossed over from his relative’s area to the foreigners land. God wants to do great things in your life but you need to cross over. Some people are still not serious with God and yet expect Him to bless them. Some are still unsaved still expect that God will look over that and do what they want .You need to cross over my friend. God is principled; He doesn’t just do things haphazardly. You can’t bribe God. If you don’t do what He wants or said you will not get what He said you get. You have to cross over.There is great work for you to the other side.
