When God Is In It, He Will Be Glorified.

I. God is still working in people’s lives. (vs.33, 36)

A. God had a plan for Aeneas’ life.

1. That plan was that he would be healed.

2. That plan was that he would bring glory to God.

3. That plan was that his life testimony would help people believe.

B. God had a plan for Dorcas’ life.

1. That plan was she would be raised from death.

2. That plan was that she would bring glory to God.

3. That plan was that her life testimony would help people believe.

II. Ministry cannot be done without prayer. (v.40)

A. We already know Peter was a man of prayer

B. He was taught directly by Jesus

C. We know that prayer is how we discover the will of God.

D. No one who is not engaged in regular prayer within the church should be elected to take care of God’s business.

E. There is no way those people could ever know God’s will.

III. Ministry is about God being glorified to the lost. (vs. 35, 42)

A. Sometimes we have difficulty knowing if God is in something.

B. We must always start by knowing God’s will.

C. We then must do God’s will.

D. We then must look to see how God is glorified.
