Summary: We were created to depend solely on God. Our Lord, and our Savior. We were created to be God’s Sons, and God’s Daughters. We shouldn’t fight this. We are His.

What’s the Deciding Factor?

Psalm 32:5, 7-9TPT

I was reading this article about a couple and their plants. The wife stated, My household plants were drooping, She read about this horticultural hint, on how to keep plants looking fresh. It stated that dust accumulating on the leaves can actually prevent the plant from getting light and the nutrients needed to survive. Now she wipes the leaves off regularly. She stated, the results was amazing.

As we live in this world, tiny particles of sand can easily build up in our lives. Resentment, Sharp words, impure thoughts, our selfish attitude's all take their toll on our spiritual vitality. Unless they are confessed right away, they begin to form a layer of dust that prevents us from experiencing the light of God's grace- in our hearts.

If the accumulation of unconfessed sin has gathered on your soul, do as King David did, in Psalm 32:5, confess it to the Lord. Wipe off the dusty leaves of your life and enjoy again the glorious sunshine of God's love.

Listen to King David’s words in—Psalm 32:5TPT Then I finally admitted to you all my sins, refusing to hide them any longer. I said, “My life-giving God, I will openly acknowledge my evil actions.” And you forgave me! All at once the guilt of my sin washed away and all my pain disappeared! Pause in his presence

We were created to depend solely on God. Our Lord, and our Savior. We were created to be God’s Sons, and God’s Daughters. We shouldn’t fight this. We are His.

He choose us from the very beginning of time—John 15:16. We walk to a different beat, we talk differently, He (God) lives within our being. We don’t trust our instincts, we don’t walk blindly. This I know, God is waiting to be trusted.

—Pilot’s agree that, Flying into a storm is a dangerous experience. The temptation is to fly by your instincts, Or as aviators say, “by the seat of your pants.” But as any pilot will tell you, that's a prescription for disaster. If you rely on your feelings and instincts, you become disoriented, thinking the plane is going up when it's actually going down. Thankfully, the instrument panel is set to magnetic north and can be trusted every time.

One pilot added this, “Letting your instruments guide you, even when it feels like they are wrong, helps ensure safety in the storm.”

When I first read this over, I felt the Lord speak.“Within our reach is the greatest pilot of all time.' ‘We were born again, ’We possess a copy of His word, We possess the Holy Spirit, He moves within us. He saved us, presently, He prays for us, and through us.' ‘We possess some great worship up in here. We possess this wonderful statement—Crane Eater Community Church, We are a people of—Love, Prayer, and Grace.” P.H

Back to today’s text, we just read verse 5, David crying out and exposing all his sins to the All-Mighty, “Oh, How David was forgiven!”

Here’s the rest of today’s text, Psalm 32:7-9TPT Lord, you are my secret hiding place, protecting me from these troubles, surrounding me with songs of gladness! Your joyous shouts of rescue release my breakthrough. Pause in his presence 8, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. 9 So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!”

The Lord’s request of us is to—Just come to Him, Jesus! Don’t make it harder than it is—Just come.

I believe this statement—“God never intends for anyone to just live by their instincts, primarily, because our feelings can’t be trusted.” P.H

Listen again to, Psalm 32:7NKJV You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

The cool thing about God is—Regardless, whether you know this or not—If you’re a believer, you are surrounded with songs of deliverance. Selah

Know this, You can take refuge from any storm. You can always go back to your hiding place. And again, His hiding place offers songs of deliverance.

Verse 7a, …He preserves me from trouble…

We all face storms that threaten to confuse and disorient us. “It may be a call from the doctors office, a friend who has betrayed you, or a shattered dream.”

Again, Psalm 32:7 He surrounds me with songs of deliverance.

Here’s a Powerful fact, When you are blinded by life's disappointments, don't trust your instincts.

I heard confirmation this week to what I’m about to say. Flying by the seat of your pants in the storms of life can lead to despair, confusion, and vengeful responses that make matters worse.
