WHAT TO DO WITH GOD'S WORD!

Psalm 119,Heb. 4:12, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, John 1:1,14, James 1:22-27

We live in a day of Data and Knowledge! Dan. 12:4 says that! "A.I."

Paul told Timothy to "bring books", parchments

John spoke of books, etc.

Many "Voices",Google, Alexa, etc.

We have something much better!

We have the Inspired, Perfect, Living Word of God!

Question is -"What are we doing with it?"

What we are to do with it:

2 Tim. 3 tells us- Perilous times, etc.

BUT! He gives us a priceless GIFT in those times- 2 Tim. 3:16-17

1)Doctrine-What's Right

2)Reproof-For what's not right

3)Correction-How to get right

4)Instruction-How to stay right

I. Hear it- Rom. 10:17

Matt. 13:9, Rev. 3-"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches"!

A. Be "Hearers" of the Word!-James 1:22-27

B. Be "Doers" of the Word!

C. Be "Be-ers" -1:27,Col. 3:16

Live the Word! Let the Word live through you!

Identity! Who you are!

II. Heed it-Psalm 199:9

Job 4:3-4, Eph. 4:29

III. Hide it- Psalm 119::11- "Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee"!

IV. Handle it-1 John 1,2 Tim. 2:15

Study to show thyself approved unto God!

V. Hold it Forth! Phil. 2:16,Psalm 126:5-6

Get the Seed out of the Barn! "Bearing precious seed"!
