What are you Full of?

Matt. 12:34-35

“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things”

The title of our message is “What are you Full of?”

What is inside of a person - is what comes out

When God placed Adam & Eve in the Garden

He created them without sin

Adam and Eve knew that God had commandment them not to eat of the forbidden tree. Satan came and tempted them to eat of the tree.

Notice what Gen. 3:3-4 says.

“…God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

There are five gates to our heart or spirit-

Five physical senses

Hearing

Sight

Touch

Smell

Taste

The Devil got his foot in the door. They listened to his lie (Hearing gate). They saw the fruit was good to eat (Sight gate). They smelled it (Smelling gate). They touched it (Touch Gate). The ate it (Tasting gate).

Sin is a progression. We are what we eat. They ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Bible says they were ashamed. They became full of evil. They opened the door to sin.

When we open our heart and mind to fear -

We become Full of Fear

Luke 21:26 “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

When Adam heard God call for Him in the garden, he said, “and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. “ He had never experienced fear before! Instead of love for God - he was full of fear

When we open our heart and mind to lies -

We become Full of Lies

Nahum 3:1 “Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery;”

When we open or heart and mind to pride -

We become Full of Pride

Psalms 59:12 “For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.”

When we open our heart and mind to doubt & unbelief-

We become Full of Doubt Unbelief

Hebrews 3:19 “So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.”

Whatever is inside of your heart & mind will come out of your mouth. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Our mind is like a computer-

A computer has to be programmed

You only get out of it what you put in it.

Pro. 23:7 “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

We become what we think!

The world programs our mind from the time we are born.

We are programmed to be sick

We are programmed to be fearful

We are programmed to reject the supernatural

We are programmed to believe that pleasing ourselves is our first priority

Ephesians 3:19 “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

When we become born again - The Holy Spirit comes in and fills us up with his presence. The Bible says that has begun a good work in you will perform it (finish it.)

Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing (reprogramming) of your mind.”

The word “transformed” which is translated from a very similar Greek word ‘metamorphoo’ which is a compound word meaning to change or transfigure. The word renewing is from the Greek word means to renovate.

How do we “renew or reprogram” our mind?

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

When you full your mind with the Word- faith cometh by hearing
