We are crushed!

- From the moment I saw the report of locusts swarming Through Asia, into Africa, &

even parts of China, & now is being tracked by ten swarms each containing 80

million locusts in it.

- The thought came to my mind, this is a pestilence on a scale from right out of

God’s judgement in the Bible.

- Then the Pandemic took full stage.

- It has raced across the entire globe.

- It has infected so many people, & killed so many, but it’s still not on a scale like the

deaths prophesied in Revelation.

- Now, the next horror takes center stage. The unbelievable murder of George Floyd.

- The virus is forgotten. In one protest in Houston 60,000 peacefully marched.

- There was no social distancing.

- Let’s pause here for a moment. I am in no way saying the protests are a bad

thing!

- Here’s Where I’m going though. What we could be witnessing is how the

enemy destroys us all.

- We have a world that is so connected now that people in the UK, & people in

Israel protested for George Floyd’s death.

- Just When we are starting to get back to life, cautiously. The enemy throws

in his instrument, tool, servant to make us suffer that much longer.

- We cannot allow the enemy to win!

- Listen, the world is shaking! Walls are crumbling, & people who had no fears, or

thoughts towards life, are looking for life.

Q- So, What can we do now?

Hebrews 4:16

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

- In Christ Jesus, we have obtained grace that we did not earn, or mercy we deserved.

- With this great gift, comes great responsibility.

Prayer

Q- How many of us have heard the words, look up, pray up, pack up?

- Look Up! The world is shaking for a reason. God is saying, wake up.

- There will always be great, & horrible injustices happening. Until we finally look up,

we find Him, from where our redemption comes.

- In Christ there is no Jew or Greek, bond or free. There is only God’s children,

brothers & sisters.

- There’s a lot in this world that distracts us from this truth, & That’s exactly how the

anti-Christ comes.

- Listen to John’s warning. He’s talking about false teachers. They look legitimate,

but they lack a vital point, Jesus/life.

1 John 4:1-12

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

- Not only do they lack Jesus, & life. They lack love.

- As Christians, we are founded on love, & we’re called to show that kind of love too.

- Jesus died for us, because He loved us.

- This is where I believe the protests are good, because they are showing that they

are willing to lay down their lives for their fallen brother.

- Here’s the thing though. It doesn’t take much effort to protest.
