Summary: Why give and excuse just do it
WE ARE ALWAYS GIVING EXCUSES MOST INEXCUSABLE
Look at some in the bible that were not excepted
(1) Not at this time.
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
(2) I have failed many times
Romans 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
(3) I cant understand
Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
(4) Why do I need salvation?
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(5) I don’t believe in hell anyway
Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
(6) The cost is to much for me
Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
(7) It’s to late anyway
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
For every excuses God has away out of them
Look to him and live
