1Ki 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

How long halt ye between two opinions?

There is no power in Neutral

Isa 28:6 For strength to them that turn the battle to the gate

Jos 10:25 for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

A church in park or neutral is as useless and powerless as a car without an engine.

You cannot be for Worship in spirit and truth

without being against Selfish living, spiritual idolatry

you cannot be for Humility and service without being against Pride and carelessness

You cannot be for holiness and sanctification without being against Impurity and corruption

You can’t be for The power of God, Gifts of the Spirit

without being against Sickness, poverty, disease, oppression,

You can’t be for faithfulness and committment without being against Unfaithfulness, Spiritual Adultery

Satan accomplishes his greatest work when the church falls into the sleep of indifference.

It’s not the devil who defeats the church, it’s the slumber of indifference, indecision, neutrality.

This Indifference is what produces Impotency = Powerlessness

(Power follows Passion)

*What causes an individual, or church, or organization to lose it’s passion and Power?

Answ: Loss of vision

Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision the people perish

Where does the vision come from in the church?

Answ: The prophetic

Vision = Oracle, Prophecy, Divine communication.

Jezebel knew this, In order to Lead Gods people into apostasy she first had to blind them to Gods Plans and purposes for them, In order to do this she had to get rid of the prophets of God. (Once Gods True Prophets were destroyed Israel had no Divine Vision and could be led Into Witchcraft and Idolatry).

Jezebel is the spirit of religion that despises and rebels against the vision and the authority of the prophetic ministry because It calls people to passionate commitment and obedience to the righteous commands of God.

How Does This spirit of Jezebel = Religion Destroy Gods prophets today and blind his people?

Answ: Exe 20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

This is How Jezebel today Destroys the prophetic voice in the church

By the attitude and mindset that disassociates the man of God and his message from the power and authority of God.

By mentally separating the Prophet from the authority of God There is produced a spirit of Individual sovereignty, This individual sovereignty then feels qualified to analyze, criticize, condemn and ignore the word of God, By doing this we religiously spiritually kill the prophets.

*Why do many people not want to recognize Gods voice and authority in his prophets?

Answ: Exe 20:19 Lest we die.

We Know that a God encounter means self has to die: Pride, Lust, Criticism, Self-righteousness, Slothfulness, Prejudice, Traditions, Stubbornness and self will, Anger, Resentment, (Religious self).

By mentally separating The Prophet from the Spiritual Power and Authority of God: Gods people Lose Their Spiritual Vision “ The Only Place to get Gods Vision is Through his Prophets”

The Prophetic We are Speaking of is The ministry That brings to us Uncompromisingly Gods Voice or his Word revealing his plans and purposes for our lives.

The prophetic Voice is never a multiple choice, But rather a simple and undeniable Thus Sayeth the Lord.

Specifically Speaking The pastor is the prophetic voice to any Given Church, he speaks for God, with God.

This Voice of God Brings Gods Vision, When This Vision is Received Then we receive Passion When we receive passion for Gods Vision Then We will receive Gods Power.

Voice, Vision, Passion, Power.

As Elijah took center stage on Mt. Carmel, to Call Gods people back to God

1Kings 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him.

He stood not only as a man or even a man of God, But a prophet = Gods voice

Gods pure, undefiled, undiluted, uncompromising insuppressible, inescapable voice.

Jezebel The spirit of religion had tried to destroy it by destroying the prophets, but she could not destroy it because it was not the voice of the prophets but in fact the voice of the living God speaking through them.

She had made the same mistake as the Children of Israel in Exe 20:19 She had separated the Prophet from God. She thought if she could kill the man she could silence God.

Elijah knew Revival in Israel could only come when Prophetic authority was restored, When they came around him, and near to him it symbolized their return to the prophetic voice of God = The vision of God = Passion = Power.
