In a world filled with distractions and chaos, it's crucial that we learn to see as God sees. Let's delve into His Word to understand this profound perspective.

I. The Limitations of Human Vision:

Our human vision, while a marvellous gift, is inherently limited. We often see things from a narrow, temporal perspective, and our understanding is clouded by our emotions and biases.

Proverbs 14:12 (NLT):

"There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death."

This verse reminds us that our human understanding can lead us astray. What may seem right in our eyes can ultimately lead to destruction. To gain a true visionary view, we must seek divine guidance.

II. God's Visionary View:

To understand how God sees, we must turn to His Word and His character.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT):

"My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."

God's thoughts and ways are beyond our comprehension. He sees the entirety of our lives, past, present, and future. His vision is not limited by time or circumstance.

III. Visionary View in Action:

Let me share an illustration to help us grasp this concept. Imagine you're hiking up a mountain. At the base, your view is obstructed by trees, rocks, and the immediate terrain. But as you ascend, the panorama unfolds before you. You see the valleys, rivers, and the vastness of the landscape below.

In a similar way, when we see through God's eyes, we gain a broader perspective. We begin to understand that our trials and tribulations are part of a grander plan. We see how God is working all things together for good.

Romans 8:28 (NLT):

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

Even in the midst of our challenges, God's vision sees the beauty of His purpose unfolding.

IV. Application of a Visionary View:

Now, how do we apply this concept to our lives?

Prayer and Seeking: Spend time in prayer, seeking God's perspective on your life's challenges and decisions. Ask Him to reveal His purpose and His will.

Scripture: Immerse yourself in God's Word. The Bible is a treasure trove of His thoughts and ways. Study it to gain insight into His character and vision.

Trust and Surrender: Trust that God sees the bigger picture, even when you can't. Surrender your desires and plans to His sovereign will.

Love and Compassion: As you gain a visionary view, develop a heart of love and compassion for others. See them as God sees them, with their unique worth and potential.

Praise and Thanksgiving: Continually praise God for His perfect vision. Thank Him for His guidance and trust that He is leading you in the right direction.
