A sermon exploring the concept that regardless of our circumstances, God remains constant and our faith in Him should too!

Title: He is Still God

Introduction:

Today, we will explore the unchanging nature of God, regardless of our circumstances. It is easy to praise God when things are going well, but even in the midst of trials and challenges, He remains worthy of our praise. Let us remember that He is still God, no matter what we face.

I. Despite Government Denial, He is Still God

In our society, there is a growing trend of denying God's presence. Our leaders have removed prayer and the Bible from schools, banned the display of the Ten Commandments in courthouses, and endorsed immoral practices. However, these actions do not diminish the fact that God is still God. Regardless of what the future holds for our nation, He remains sovereign and unchanging.

II. Despite World Rejection, He is Still God

Many people in our world reject God and His teachings. They mock and scorn those who follow Him. However, their rejection does not alter the truth that He is still God. We should not be discouraged by the majority's rejection but stand firm in our faith.

III. Despite His Followers Forsaking Him, He is Still God

Even among those who claim to follow Christ, there are many who compromise their beliefs or remain silent in the face of opposition. However, their actions do not change the fact that He is still God. We must choose to take a stand for Him, regardless of the consequences.

IV. Despite Troubles Faced by His Followers, He is Still God

The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego illustrates this point. These three men refused to bow down to a golden idol, even when threatened with death in a fiery furnace. They trusted that God had the power to deliver them, but even if He didn't, they would not compromise their faith. In the end, God protected them from harm. This story reminds us that no matter the outcome of our trials, He is still God.

Conclusion:

No matter what challenges we face, God remains the same. We may not always understand His ways, but we can trust that He is sovereign and in control. Let us hold onto the assurance that He is still God, even in the midst of adversity. May we find comfort and strength in knowing that He is with us always.
