Summary: What about interfaith relationships?

What about interfaith relationships? Have you ever dated non-Christians or ended up marrying

them? Second Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) tells us not to be; unequally; and with an unbeliever.

This is where two are on different links, even when serving a higher being. It would be tough to

work together in pulling the daily load of everyday life. This would not be an easy relationship

because they will resist being the best spouse you should be. This scripture does not mention

marriage, but it implies any relationship. There will be no spiritual

harmony in a union between Christians and non-Christians.

The Bible also says, Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character(1 Corinthians

15:33). An intimate relationship with an unbeliever can quickly turn into something that hinders

your walk with Christ. I know there is not anything wrong with having or building a quality

relationship with an unbeliever. Where is your priority if you date a person with a different faith than you? Would that priority be winning a soul for Christ, or would it just be romance?

I believe that love conquers all that does;t matter the differences. I married a person

that did't find God until we were divorced. I know that an interfaith relationship or marriage

has to have patience and understanding and consider the other person's feeling a lot of the time.

Communication is a need in all relationships, but the opposite attracts a relationship, and it is

needed.

Lastly, be honest about who you are and your significant other. What does the other

partner act and sound like when there is respect in the relationship. . Will you be willing to learn

about the other one faith and belief? Since you both are together, there has to be a way of coming

together as a couple if you are together.
