WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THE DESTINATION OR THE JOURNEY? Perhaps they are both important?

Patience grows with wisdom by understanding and compassion. We must eliminate anger. Good things come to those that wait.

ALL SUFFERING, TRIALS AND OBSTACLE HAVE A PURPOSE TO GROW YOUR FAITH.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

LISTEN TO WHAT GOD SAYS: GOD CLEARLY DECLARES WHAT WE NEED --- WE NEED PATIENCE--- STICK ABILITY.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

NO MATTER WHAT IS TAUGHT IN THE CHURCH THE BIBLE HIGHLY ESTEEMS PATIENCE. THEN WHY IS PATIENCE SUCH A DIRTY WORD IN THE MODERN CHURCH?

Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

The attitude of the children of God knows there is GLORY IN TRIBULATION.

James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

HOT TEMPERS CAUSE TROUBLE.

Proverbs 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

Proverbs 15:18 (MSG) Hot tempers start fights; a calm, cool spirit keeps the peace.

BE PATIENT WITH:

1. SELF: irritation, frustration and impatience produced an AURA that hinders growth.

2. HAVE PATIENCE WITH PEOPLE AND THE CHURCH. You can not lead people faster than they want to go. (Some run ahead; Some stay with the group.

3. OTHERS LAG BEHIND.

4. THE SUPER SPIRITUAL are never happy and always complain. Impatience with people and God.

5. THE HYPOCRITES

CONCLUSION: PLOD ON… PLODDING ON WHEN MANY OTHERS ARE QUITTING. Plod may be slow but you keep making progress even when the work is difficult. WITHOUT PATIENCE WE ARE HOPELESS.

Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Romans 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Romans 8:25 (MSG) But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
