Summary: Daniel 3:25 "He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

Abednego, Shadrach, and Messach's fiery trial reflects the triumph, victory and glory experienced by today's Spirit filled believer when they trust and totally depend on God to see them through trials, temptations persecution, suffering. Just like the brave trio in the Old Testament, when we trust Him Jesus appears in the midst of the Fire to save us from the fiery trial but it's even better in the New Covenant because Jesus doesn't just appear externally, He appears internally to save us with His very Life, His glory in us, Christ in us the hope of glory that overcomes every situation if we will not walk in doubt and unbelief but trust Him to save us. It is by His Divine Nature in us that we overcome the deceitful lusts of this world. The word "deceitful" is used here because we are brand new creatures in Christ, recreated in true righteousness and holiness, sanctified, and "all things are of God" therefore anything that says contrary to who we are in Christ is deceitful and a lie and is from the flesh and from the enemy and is meant to be confronted with Truth. Truth which is we are born of God and are holy and sanctified.

No situation, no trial can withstand the glory of God, which is in us and is the very Presence of Jesus Christ Himself indwelling us. Paul said "this treasure is in earthen vessels" which treasure is Jesus Christ Himself. He said in this world we will have afflictions but to fear not because HE has overcome the world: Christ in us the hope of glory has overcome the world. Jesus in His beautiful earnest prayer to The Father prays that He would make us partake of the very same glory that He and The Father share and that same glory is in us and is what helps us triumph if we will believe despite whatever is going on externally. Like Messach, Abednego and Shadrach we have to trust that our God WILL deliver us from the fiery trial or persecution because He is not a man that He should lie neither is He man that He should repent, He will do what He says He will do and make it good.

The not-so-secret secret, which now is the mystery revealed is Christ in us the hope of glory. When He appears in us, we appear with Him in glory. By His Divine Nature, we receive supernatural strength, a peace that surpasses understanding, joy unspeakable and full of glory, power to continue doing His will even in times we don't feel like it, the power to love the unlovable with the very same love that God has for them, the power to genuinely forgive enemies. It's all in us in the Person of our indwelling Jesus if we will call on Him in prayer, and keep the fire on the altar of our hearts burning for Him and not letting that fire go out. Jesus is the mystery of godliness in us 1 Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." Jesus in us is the mystery of godliness. It's only by Him that we live a godly life. 1 John 3:2-3 says when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. When we call on Him and believe in His Name, His Character is manifested in us and we receive the power to overcome. Like someone said, "you can't separate the person from the personality" I can imitate you even convincingly but there will be weaknesses here and there because it's simply not the original but if you someway somehow shared your very life with me, then it would be you living through me as yourself. It would be your authentic and truly real nature manifesting through me but the source of this nature would have to be your very presence indwelling me because you can't separate the person from the personality. The gifts of the Holy Spirit for example is The Holy Spirit manifesting His Nature through us, the anointing is the very power of The Holy Spirit Himself, Jesus put it plainly when He said "but for Me you can do nothing." Paul understood it is all by grace and said "so that, just as it is written: “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

Pride would be the only thing that would stop us from falling on our knees and asking for the grace that is in Jesus to help in time of need. He gives grace to the humble but resists the proud. There's nothing we can't take to The Lord in prayer there's even a prayer for unbelief like this one here Mark 9:24 "Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” we can pray and ask The Lord to help us with unbelief. The Lord has told us our solutions will come from prayer and intimate relationship with Him He said pray and ask The Father "let Your Kingdom come", He said watch (pray) so you don't enter into temptation, He said if My people will humble themselves, pray, seek My face then I will hear from Heaven" the reverse is true if we don't pray. Yes He is a loving Father but we need to be obedient children too.
