Mark 10:45 (Amplified Bible)

10:45 For even the Son of Man came not to have service rendered to Him, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for (instead of) many.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

This is prior the Triumphal Entry of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and this Triumphal Entry was prophesied by Zechariah.

Zechariah 9:9 (Amplified Bible)

9:9 Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O Daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you; He is [uncompromisingly] just and having salvation [triumphant and victorious], patient, meek, lowly, and riding on a donkey, upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.

A. They went and found

"So they went away and found"

Catching great number of fish before resurrection of JESUS:

Luke 5:4 (Amplified Bible)

5:4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon (Peter), Put out into the deep [water], and lower your nets for a haul.

When they did exactly what JESUS have instructed the results are:

Luke 5:6 (Amplified Bible)

5:6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish; and as their nets were [at the point of] breaking,

Big catch again after resurrection:

John 21:6 (Amplified Bible)

21:6 And He said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find [some]. So they cast the net, and now they were not able to haul it in for such a big catch (mass, quantity) of fish [was in it].

By faith we follow and quickly obey JESUS's Instructions to us:

Hebrews 11:8 (Amplified Bible)

11:8 [Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.

Mary, the mother of JESUS, finally figured it out.

John 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

2:5 His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.

B. Colt tied at the doorway

"a colt tied at the door out in the [winding] open street,"

It was already prepared by the owners. Usually animals in Jerusalem are inside.

Luke 11:7 (Amplified Bible)

11:7 And he from within will answer, Do not disturb me; the door is now closed, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and supply you [with anything]?

Matthew 21:6-7 (Amplified Bible)

21:6 Then the disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them.

21:7 They brought the donkey and the colt and laid their coats upon them, and He seated Himself on them [the clothing].

Luke 19:32-34 (Amplified Bible)

19:32 So those who were sent went away and found it [just] as He had told them.

19:33 And as they were loosening the colt, its owners said to them, Why are you untying the colt?

19:34 And they said, The Lord has need of it.

John 2:5 (Amplified Bible)

2:5 His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.

Hebrews 11:8 (Amplified Bible)

11:8 [Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.

Colt- represents man or woman without the LORD.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (Amplified Bible)

2:14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.

Job 11:12 (Amplified Bible)

11:12 But a stupid man will get wisdom [only] when a wild donkey’s colt is born a man [as when he thinks himself free because he is lifted up in pride].
