There Is No Need To Doubt Him Now

Malachi 3:6-7

6.For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7.Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Intro: In Times like these it is easy to start doubting, and to start thinking He has forsaken us. It is easy to get in a place of disgust when we look around, I mean let’s face it the world is in a mess. Preachers can no longer preach the way they used to preach. We have gotten in a rut of trying to do things our way and trying to over correct self-righteousness and we have in fact went too far in the wrong direction.

This modern day crowd don’t know anything about the way church is supposed to be conducted. The fact of the matter is people are desiring to worship but don’t know how to worship. I wish that we would learn to let go and let God have His way. It is not that God needs us in order to have church but He chooses to use us and it is by our obedience to the Spirit that we will have church the way God wants us to have church. Many people today can’t handle real preaching of the Word because they are either lost or still on the milk of the Word, I’m ready for some real Christians to come out of the wood works and glorify Christ. Oh if we are ever going to see a change in the churches and if we are ever going to see a change in our nation and our world we have got to stop focusing on the negative and start living for the one who paid the price for our wrong doing. In times like these people are more concerned with things outside of the church, anymore it is all about what makes them happy, we are living in a society where people spend more time mad at the preacher and living like hell to spite the church than they do serving God. Most won’t come to church because they are afraid that the man of God will preach conviction on them and that they may be required to give up some stuff. In times like these people are not focused on Christ or Calvary but they are focused on satisfying their sinful nature.

I want to say that though these times are bad that we need not forget just where He brought us from and what He will see us through. We need not think He is done with us, can I say this by way of introduction it’s not over until He says it is over and we need to quit walking around with our heads hung low and start walking around as children of the Highest, because the last time I checked it was Him who died for us, laid His life down for us and took it up again so that we could live and have life more abundantly for that I say praise God! Can I say this There Is No Need To Doubt Him Now!

Looking back through the years,

The heartaches and tears

My Lord has never once let me down

Though I don't understand

Still I trust in His plan

For He said that His grace would abound.

No need to doubt Him now

He'll make a way somehow

Safely this far Jesus has brought me

No need to doubt Him now.

Maybe some are here today that feel like there is no use in times like these, no need to serve anymore, no need because nobody cares anymore. Well im here to tell you none of this is true because there is a God in heaven who sees all, hears all, and cares greatly for us I say in times like these don’t lose hope, don’t forget you have help, and you have Him There is no need to doubt Him now Because

1. OUR LORD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Phil 1:6

• His has a plan for us

• He will provide for us

• He will protect us

2. OUR LORD WILL FIX THE MESS WE CREATED

In this text we see that the children of Israel disobeyed God just as we have!

Illustration: A businessman well known for his ruthlessness once announced to writer Mark Twain, "Before I die I mean to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I will climb Mount Sinai and read the 10 Commandments aloud at the top." "I have a better idea," replied Twain. "You could stay in Boston and keep them."
