There Are None So Blind?

THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THE ONE THAT REFUSES TO OPEN THEIR EYES...

Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind?

shall they not both fall into the ditch?

There is a very deep verse...it is so simple, we seldom catch the beauty and depth of

what God is speaking...

There are none so blind as those that refuse to see...

I. IF THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND... WE WILL FALL

WE INVEST SO MUCH IN EYE CANDY, CARNAL, FLESH VISION...

WE FAIL TO SEE THE UNSEEN HANDS...

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of

them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is

the image of God, should shine unto them.

A. In 1995 Jane's International Defense Review reported that the company NORINCO

of China was offering to export a WEAPON that used LASER BEAMS to damage the eyes

of the enemies.

This WEAPON is called the "ZM-87 POTABLE LASER DISTURBER."

B. Jane's report is that this weapon will INJURE or DIZZY the eyes of the enemy combatant

with HIGH POWERED LASER IMPULSES...

This weapon will cause the enemy to LOSE COMBAT ABILITY by hindering the visual field.

C. The ZM-87 PORTABLE LASER DISTURBER has a RANGE of about TWO MILES.

D. OUR ENEMY THE DEVIL .... WANTS TO BLIND THE CAMP AND HAVE PEOPLE

REFUSE TO OPEN THEIR EYES...

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh

about, seeking whom he may devour:

II. REFUSE TO LOOK AT A CALLAUSED HEART?

THINK ABOUT THINKING PATTERNS?

A. God does not force people to SEE or to HEAR...

That is up to your attitudes... your THINKING PATTERNS...

Isaiah 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest

they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert,

and be healed.

B. IF WE DESIRE CHANGE...

HONEY WE MUST OPEN OUR UNDERSTANDING...

C. WHEN WE SEE AND HEAR HEALING WILL COME...

III. SAMSON SAW MORE BLIND THAN WHEN HE COULD SEE...

BUT HIS VISION LIMITED HIS ABILITY...

FAILURE DEMANDED... ONE MORE TIME...

A. THE WAS A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN...

he had good, godly parents...

B. SEEMS EVERY STRONG PERSON HAS A WEAKNESS...

C. Them strange girls are so pretty...

Dating opposites attract...

Married opposites ATTACK...

Judges 16:21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and

bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

D. STRONG BOY... HOW DOES BLINDNESS AFFECT/// EFFECT YOU?

The life of an animal?

Judges 16:28 And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and

strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for

my two eyes.

IV. BLESSED ARE THE EYES THAT SEE...

BITTERNESS AND ISOLATION ARE DEADLY....

A. GOD HELP US TO SEE

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Luke 10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see

the things that ye see:

B. HAVE WE BEEN PUSHED BY LIFE AND HURT EMOTIONS TO A POINT THAT PAIN SWALLOWS

US WHOLE.

We need to CONFRONT OUR BITTERNESS and what is at the ROOT OF OUR PROBLEM...

1. Do we seem to be HOPELESSLY CAUGHT in a TRAP THAT IS DOOMING US...?

2. Does life seem to be endlessly DRAINING our peace and victory?

3. Is something constantly POKING into your victory?

4. Are we carrying INFECTED WOUNDS?

5. Are we LOOSING BLOOD and WEAKNESS is a way of life?

C. SATAN TENDS TO BLIND THE EYES OF GOD'S PEOPLE...

V. LOVE AND RESPECT ALWAYS STARTS AT HOME... ALWAYS...

OFTEN TIMES, MEANNESS, SMART MOUTHS, DISRESPECT STARTS AT HOME

A. BITTERNESS BACK FIRES... OFTEN WE TAKE GENDER WORDS AND EXCUSE

SELF THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO ME...

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

B. TERMS:

1. GRUDGE: deep seated resentment
