1 Corinthians 1:18-20 King James Version (KJV)

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Beloved, the understanding of the cross which is the understanding of the message of salvation, the work Jesus did on the cross is a very powerful tool to possess as a Christian or a living person in this world.

The application of this understanding is the exhibition of true wisdom and power. The wisdom and power of God that is greater than all other wisdom and powers.

For those who don't understand and are being deceived by the devil to perish, it seems empty and useless to them. They don't see the use nor the effect of the cross.

Beloved if you gain all the wisdom, knowledge and understanding in this world without gaining the wisdom of God which is obtained through the preaching of the cross, then, all you have gained is foolishness packaged nicely to attract you.

Beloved, without the message of the cross you have no depth. You have no content. Your words sounds like wisdom to the world but it is all foolishness and empty words.

Beloved if you want to possess wisdom and power. If you want to see the manifestation of these and see the effect in your life, you need to gain understanding of the message of the cross.

How do you gain this? Through listening to preaching of the cross, studying the message of the cross in the bible and also preaching to others the message of the cross. This is the way.

When you gain this understanding, wisdom and power your dealings and life will change and you will see the operation of the Hand of God in your life and all you do.

Beloved, *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Seek wisdom and power through the preaching of the cross in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer: Daddy I thank you for your glory which you have made available through the preaching of the cross. Grant us this glory always that we may walk in your wisdom and power throughout the ages as we live for you. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
