The Weakness Of A Strong Man
Contributed by Rodney Johnson Sr., on Sep 4, 2014 (message contributor)
Summary: Every man has his weakness. His strength can be found only in the Spirit of God.
Introduction: Sampson was a he-man with a she - weakness. He could not man-up to the heathen women in his path. We too are no different in many ways.
I. The Enemy Pressured his Mind. She sought the source of his strength continually.
II. The Enemy Played with Sampson' s Head. She acted like she loved him.
III. The Enemy Penetrated his Heart. (He finally told all his heart).
IV. The Enemy put him to Sleep. (The enemy rocked him to sleep)
V. The Enemy put out his Eyes. ( They removed his vision)
VI. The Enemy Published his Weakness. ( Satan does the same)
VII. The Enemy Put him in Chains. ( He became the devil's captive)
The way out:
He found a partner with a vision. (a lad)
He found a place to pray. (Between two pillars)
He acknowledged his power source. (He sought the Lord)
Conclusion: We are as strong as our relationship with God.
