The Vessels God uses

Romans 2:1-5

PRESENTLY:

Men are now to bring themselves to God instead of sacrifices to the altar as of the old days, they themselves are now to be wholly the Lord’s as were the former ones.

BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE:

1st notice that it says’ bodies’ in a plural form

2nd the sacrifice is singular, meaning we are many, but one.

Our service in the body of Christ should not be many indivual services, but for 1 service, to further the gospel.

I AM A VESSEL

What I simply am is a vessel. I’m simply a container, and whatever I rec. in my daily life I will express when you are around me.

Jesus said Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Jesus said “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

You will express what you contain, you may try to hide it but eventually it will come out. I do not need to try to do it, it just comes naturally.

** Get the visual aids... note the contents of them and then get a preacher and note the contents of him.

And bring in Acts 6:1-5 & 7:55-56 when they chose 8 men and what they were full of.

2. I CAN BE USED....

Micah 4:1-2 says

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Notice that in these two verses. it starts out by saying in the last days.

It does not say in the next age or after Jesus comes back.

1 John 2:18 says

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Most of the time, it seems that we tend to put everything of God off into the future.

But we must begin to realize that the last days began with the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

In Genesis 1 .the tabernacle built by Moses was a type & shadow of the real temple to come, which is God dwelling in His people.

There has been, and still is, somewhat of a veil over this present day saints of God.

When it really comes to seeing a heavenly vision, God wants to fully reveal, live, and manifest himself in his people.

That is what Moses saw and experienced when he was on the Mt.

When he came down his face shined with the glory of God. And a veil was put on his face, signifying that the people covered the power and majesty of God manifest upon his people.

1Cor.6:19 says…

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the H.G. which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

2Cor 6:16 says…

And what agreement hath the temple of God w/

3. THE RESTORER OF LIFE...

Ps.23:1-3 says…

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

If I begin my daily life to rec. the Word of God as the bread of life.

If I begin to be filled up with love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, and when you are around me, I will express these qualities of the Spirit of God.

And when I do that, I will become less and less aware of the devil and the worldly things around me.

Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus said that if you will save your life you will lose it, but if you lose your life you will truly find it Matt. 16:25

When you lose your limited personal sense of life, you will begin to experience the abundant, flowing, and unlimited life of God.

Allow yourself to feel like you did in school at lunch time;

Just allow the Lord run wild and free in your life and have free course in you.

You will express what you contain, you may try to hide it but eventually it will come out. I do not need to try to do it, it comes naturally.
