The State Of The Dead In Christ

Summary: This sermon encourages the body of Christ concerning those who die in the Lord.
Let us consider the following concerning those that die in the Lord:
I. THEY ARE WELCOME INTO CHRIST’S IMMEDIATE PRESENCE.
II. THEY WILL SEE HIS FACE AS HE IS.
III. THEY ENTER INTO A STATE OF PERFECT FELICITY.
IV. THEIR SPIRITS EXPERIENCE THE PROMISE OF REST FULFILLED.
V. THEY ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP OF REDEEMED SAINTS.
VI. THEIR WORKS REMAINS ACTIVE AFTER DEPARTURE.
VII. THEY ENTER REST WITHOUT CESSATION.
Conclusion: May we rest in the promises of God, that we too shall rest from our labors.
