The Son Of God We Serve

THE SON OF GOD WE SERVE

1. He is our only source of hope.

1st Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

2. Our only Sacrificial lamb.

1st Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

3. He is the Chief corner stone.

2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

4. Our perfect example.

1st Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

5 .Our only Sin-Bearer

2nd Peter2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

6.Shepherd of our souls.

2nd Peter 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

7.Our exalted Lord.

1st Peter3:22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
