QUICKSAND? NEGATIVISM AND SIN SOON BECOME QUICKSAND!

HELP! I HAVE FALLEN AND I CAN NOT GET UP!!!

JUST LET ME STAY IN THIS MESS? WE HAVE A ROCK!

Have you ever watched an old western where the cowboy falls into quicksand?

The is NOTHING TO STAND ON --- THERE IS NOTHING ON WHICH TO GET A SURE

FOOTING.

THE HARD YOU FIGHT? THE MORE YOU TRY TO GET OUT ---

THE DEEPER AND FASTER YOU SINK ---

THE VERY NATURE OF QUICKSAND IS CLEAR --- THE MORE YOU FIGHT SEEMS THE

DEEPER YOU SINK?

HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO WALK IN SLICK MUDDY CLAY?

HAS A HABIT? WEIGHT? ALCOHOL? ANGER? FAMILY PROBLEMS SEEMED TO

TRAP YOU HOPELESSLY TO SINK LOWER AND LOWER UNTIL---"THE END?"

HAVE WE EVER ADMITTED HOW NEGATIVITY BECOMES A SLIPPERY SLOPED.

WET, MIRY CLAY CAN BECOME CAUSE US TO LOSE OUR FOOTING?

JACOB OR ISRAEL HAD LEARNED ABOUT THE MIRY CLAY OF LIFE...

MY 12 SONS, I AM DYING AND I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY.

THERE IS A LESSON OF DELIVERANCE FROM THE MESS IN THE SON NAMED GAD...

ELIJAH WAS FROM THE TRIBE OF GAD!

TRANSFIGURATION?

OVERCOMER...

GAD HAD A BLESSED PROMISE...

Have you ever seen a BOXING PUNCHING BAG?

No matter how often or how hard you hit the PUNCHING BAG it will pop back up.

The hard you hit the PUNCHING BAG the harder it will bounce back. Slam the

punching bag to the ground and it will bounce back up. Kick the punching bag and

wow, the bag returns to an up right position.

THE HIT KNOCKS YOU DOWN, HIS POWER BRINGS YOU BACK UP.

THE LAST DAYS WILL BE FILLED WITH THE QUICKSAND OF NEGATIVISM...

DANIEL THE PRAYER WARRIOR SAW THE LAST DAYS AS A MINGLE OF IRON

AND CLAY... LACK OF UNITY AND TOGETHERNESS...

IRON: COLD, HARD, AND DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH --- RUST.

MIRY CLAY: Unsure, slippery, fallen, weak,

Daniel 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of

iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron,

forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle

themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron

is not mixed with clay.

JOSEPH HAS LEARNED THE TERRIBLE PIT OF THE NEGATIVE QUICKSAND---

WHILE JOSEPH LEARNED THIS LESSON OF HURT AND REJECTION---

JOSEPH KNEW HE HAD TO TEACH HIS SONS AND TEACH US A LESSON ABOIUT THE

DANGER OF NEGATIVE QUICKSAND.

LIFE HAD TAUGHT JOSEPH TWO MAIN LESSONS THAT UNFORGIVENESS AND PAIN

WOULD SOON BURY A PERSON IN NEGATIVE TRAPS.

The two lessons were clear:

1. FORGET THE PAIN

2. BE FRUITFUL & BE BLESSED!

Genesis 41:51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he,

hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful

in the land of my affliction.

COME BEHIND THE VEIL!

THERE IS A PLACE NEAR THE HEART OF GOD... COME TO THE ALTAR ---

WHAT IS HOLDING YOU DOWN? DOES IT SEEM WE ARE TRAPPED IN THIS MESS?
