All that the Father is and has, He has invested in the Name of Jesus. Every believer has the legal right, the legal redemptive right, to use the Name of Jesus. The moment the Name of Jesus becomes a part of your prayer life, your prayer life receives legal authority in Heaven. This puts prayer on a purely legal basis. In other words it's no longer answered because you pray, it's answered because it's connected to the Name.

The Name of Jesus empowers prayer to be answered. The Name of Jesus causes prayer to be answered.

John 14:13, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

"In My Name." Notice here, it's in His Name. Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them." Agreement is impossible without His Name and His presence. Nothing is impossible, whatsoever, to those who agree in His Name.

John 14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do. Because I go unto My Father. And whatsoever he shall ask in My Name." "Whatsoever, anything you ask, that will I do. That the Father may be glorified in the Son."

Now think for a second. What is greater than raising the dead? What is greater than commanding the

storm to be still? What is greater than walking on water? What is greater than healing the sick? What is greater than casting out demons? "Greater works than these shall he do." That has baffled me over the years.

What can be greater than what He did? What can be greater than casting out demons, healing the oppressed and the sick? There's one thing Jesus could not do. He could not stand before a crowd and say, "Once I was lost, but now I'm found." He could not say, "Once I was blind, now I can see." He could not be a testimony of the power of His Blood. Because the Blood never washed Him, it washed you.

He could not stand up before a crowd and say, "Once I was a sinner." So, what is greater than raising the dead? The new birth experience. When you give witness of the new birth experience, that is greater than any miracle performed by the Master! That's why I say greatest miracle of all is salvation.

Think about this, Jesus could not stand up and say to anyone, "Once I was a sinner, once I was lost, once I was blind!" Because, He was never lost, He was never blind, and surely, He was not a sinner. But you and I were! Think about the power He has given us to be a testimony! We can tell the world we've been washed by the Blood! Somebody say, "HALLELUJAH!" That is greater than any miracle, raising the dead, or even the calming the storm!

He's speaking then to individuals who understand that miracle. But now watch, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do. That the Father may be glorified in the Son." "If ye shall ask." "If ". Because He knows there'll be some who won't. "If you shall ask anything in My Name, I will do it."

"If you love Me." Again, He knows some will not. "Keep My Commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter. That He may abide with you forever." Notice how the Lord in the same breath, at the same time, talks about the new birth experience in verse 12? Answers to all prayer in verse 13 in His Name, and then goes right here to talk about the Holy Spirit? Showing us each of these revelations He just spoke. Every truth He gives is connected one to one to the other.

It's impossible to pray unless you're born again. It's impossible to pray effectively without His Name. Impossible to pray and see results without the Spirit. John 15:16 the Lord says, "Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you. And ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit. And that your fruit should remain that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it to you."

Notice again that if there is no fruit in our life, our prayer is not effective. You can say in Jesus Name, yet the answer will not come because there is no fruit. Please notice this. "Ye have not chosen Me.", He said. "I have chosen you. And ordained you." That's His plan for you. "That ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain."
