LADEN? THE PARASITE OF WEARINESS…

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

COMMON SENSE AIN’T TO COMMON ANY MORE. Cancer is a parasite. Cancer lives and grows at the benefit derived by taking the life and nutrients at the expense of another… CANCER TAKES AND TAKES WHILE GIVING NOTHING IN RETURN. The parasite destroys the host. The parasite cancer can start as a single cell. The only good thing about cancer is it grows until it kills the host and thus kills itself.

LADEN: heavy loaded or weighed down. We can be ladened physically, mentally, emotionally and or spiritually. Emotional games that overwhelm. Oppressed… inside. Chronic

GROW: increasing in size, change, become larger,

WEARY: to become tired or sick, tired, exhausted, fatigue, impatient, NO LONGER FINDING PLEASURE IN DAILY LIVING,

WEARINESS IS A GROWTH, A PARASITE…

THE QUESTION MIGHT NOT BE WHAT DO I DO IF I GROW WEARY...

THE QUESTION MIGHT BE WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GROW WEARY… SOONER OR LATER EVERY LIVING PERSON WILL GROW WEARY. THE ISSUE IS GROW-GROWING…

Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

WEARINESS IS A REAL LIFE FACT. GOD GIVES HOPE… DAILY LIFE WEARS US DOWN… WEARINESS IS A CONDITION OF THE BODY, SOUL, SPIRIT, MENTAL, PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL --- body, heart and spirit.

WEARINESS GROWS FROM SELF-DOUBT AND FROM FEAR. We face all kinds of attitudes that will make us tired. The tiredness of our attitudes --- grows weariness and heaviness in all forms.

A heavy, tired, weary spirit can cause a sense of LONELINESS, gloom and despair. A weary spirit is A SELF DEFEATING PARASITE…

2 Thessalonians 3:13 (KJV) But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 (MSG) Friends, don't slack off in doing your duty.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NIV) And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 (NLT2) As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 (Passion) Brothers and sisters, don’t ever grow weary in doing what is right.

Weary? Did you hear about the poor family that saved their money to buy a donkey to help them? They walked into town and purchased the donkey. Coming home the young boy rode the donkey and the old man led it. People in anger said, young man let the old man ride. So the old man rode. People got angry that the old man was riding. So both the old man and the boy rode the donkey. People got angry… SO THE OLD MAN AND THE BOY CARRIED THE DONKEY HOME?

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

WE CAN OVERCOME WEARINESS… FEAR KILLS FAITH… FAITH KILLS FEAR…

Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

CONSIDER THIS:

Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

CONSIDER THERE IS A PROPER TIME TO NOT GROW WEARY… WHEN THE HARVEST TIME IS NEAR!

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

When the destructive parasite of weariness distorts our perspective. WEARY COUNTS BURDENS AND CROSSES WE HAVE TO BEAR. Weariness focuses on tears and defeats… WEARINESS COUNTS FEARS AND TEARS. Weariness counts what I don’t have instead of the blessing I do have. When we focus on our defeats and failures instead of our hope and peace…

CONCLUSION: Addiction means I am willing to give up everything for a temporary high, one thing. Finding my way to recovery is giving up that one thing that will destroy me, to gain everything, LOVE, HOPE, PEACE AND JOY.

Life is full of lessons to learn. Somethings come into your life to test you. Somethings come into you life to teach you. Somethings will come into your life to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus desires to BRING OUT THE BEST IN YOU. Stay focused on eternity.
