The Operations Of The Holy Spirit Series

For our God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints (1 Cor.14:33)

Why are there so much church split, in-house fighting, competitions, division, chaos, anger, and bitterness among the Saints of God? Why is it that the sick and diseased are not healed, the dead not raised, the cripple not walking, and deliverance not taking place in our services? The Holy Spirit has been quenched!!! We are busy trying to promote the man of God, instead of the God the man. What a tragedy and grave error!!!!!!!!!!

When Israel wanted a human king to reign over them, this was a classic example of rejecting the leading of the Holy Spirit. The prophet Samuel warned them of the dire consequences that would follow. Oh yes, terrible consequences did follow. Israel degenerated into unbearable chaotic life to the extent that they became slaves to their enemies for centuries. The entire nation split into two and went into prolonged exile. The same is applicable to us today. When we disregard the leadership of the Holy Spirit, our lives will become chaotic and marked by some form of prolonged exile or slavery to our enemies—whether demons, hostile people, sicknesses, or unresolved hardship/conflicts, but the woes will linger indefinitely until we genuinely repent.

Whenever the Holy Spirit is given permission to work, the result is peace, wholeness, harmony, and unity, the supernatural becomes normal, and the blessing of God follows us. In contrast, when the flesh and man are at work, the results are invariably chaos, confusion, and death. The flesh will always produce inner confusion and outward chaos. Whenever we disregard the leading of the Holy Spirit and follow our fleshy or personal agendas, guaranteed, we will produce an Ishmael that will become a pain in our necks.

It is the presence and operation of the Holy Spirit in a person`s life that produces peace and serenity. But when we ignore the Holy Spirit and live by the dictates of our fleshy desires, we produce a chaotic life. We hurt ourselves and those we interact with. There can be no life and unity in any local church when the Holy Spirit is not in operation and sitting in the driver`s seat. We may erect gigantic buildings called churches, and design fancy programs and plans, but without the Holy Spirit(controlling) filling our lives, chaos and confusion will be the ultimate fruit.

It is time to reconnect with the leading and operations of the Holy Spirit. We need a fresh refilling(control) of the Holy Spirit. It is time for the resurgence of Pentecost again. It is time for our shadows to heal the sick. It is time for our clothes to be instruments of deliverance. It is time for the dead to be raised when we walk past a funeral ceremony or adjacent to a mortuary. It is the Holy Spirit that produces the signs and wonders that we long for. It is the Holy Spirit that brings the revival we are yearning for. He is the Spirit of life!!! Without Him, only death reigns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
