b) TO BRING SANCTIFICATION
Titus 2:13 & 14 . . . we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Your blood you purchased men for God (v.9)
a) REDEEMED FROM EMPTY WAYS
1 Peter 1:18& 19 You know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
b) REDEEMED TO BECOME THE CHURCH

From every tribe and language and people and nation.(v.9)
a) UNITED IN SALVATION
Romans10:12 & 13 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
b) UNITED IN LOCATION
Matthew 8:11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
5. A GREAT RELATIONSHIP
Made them to be a kingdom and priests (v. 10)
a) A PRIESTHOOD TO SERVE
1 Peter 2:4 & 5 As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
b) A RELATIONSHIP TO ENJOY
1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
