The Need To Assemble Ourselves

Summary: This text encourages us to come together and worship our maker.
We are instructed in the text; not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. Paul alludes to the fact that the problem was already in existence in his day.Therefore; let's look at several reasons why we should be frequently in corporate worship .
I. Confession of our salvation. (Hold fast the confession of our faith)
II. Communion of the saints. (Assembling together)
III . Command of Scriptures. (Do not forsake)
IV . Consideration of the saved. (Consider one another)
V . Coercion to serve. (Provoking each other to love and good works)
VI . Comfort in sickness. (Exhorting one another)
VII . Coming of the Savior. (The day is approaching)
Conclusion: Don't miss worship. If you do; like Thomas, you may miss Jesus.
