The Mission Order

THE MISSION ORDER

Life will become more meaningful and fulfilling if we will just understand that we are here for a mission. Our existence is not an accident. In fact, we are part of God's master plan. Being God's agent, here is your mission order.

Joh 15:16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.

From the above text, There are FIVE ELEMENTS OF GOD'S CALLING

I - EMPOWERING

"You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you"

The authorization:

When God choose the birds to fly, He equips them with wings. When God call us to do a task, He will empower us.

Our Authorization and ordination comes from God. You don't have to wait for some formal ordination rite to start sharing Jesus to your friends and neighbors. Once you become a Christian, you become a missionary of God to share His love to your circle of influence.

II - SOUL WINNING

"that you should go"

The Mission:

The heart-beat of God is soul winning. God has only one Son. But he sent Jesus to be the first missionary to the world.

Jesus said:

Mar 16:15 He said to them, "Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all people. (GNB)

This is the Great Commission of every believer of Christ. You can also find it in Matthew 28:19-20. This is our authority and mission order that we should go and win soul for God.

If you are not winning souls for God, then you are missing one of God's purpose for our lives which is to bring people to Jesus.

III - FRUIT BEARING

"and bring forth fruit"

The Reproduction:

The joy of God's call is to see someone born to the Family of God through our witnessing.

In John chapter 15, Jesus explain the importance of being connected to God so that we become fruit bearing people. He explain that as the branches will be lifeless if not connected to the vine, so we are also lifeless and useless without God. Without God, we are nothing.

Reproduction is part of God's plan for us. In fact, God's first command to all creation is to produce its own kind. Christian should reproduce other Christians. Believer of God should reproduce by sharing Jesus to the world.

Once we obey this command, our lives will become full of joy, fulfillment and excitement.

Joh 15:11 I have spoken these things to you so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full.

Prayer is always part of soul-winning. And as we share the gospel to others prayerfully, we will surely have good harvest.

Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

IV - MENTORING

"and that your fruit should remain"

The Cultivation:

God want us to be a responsible parent in the Lord. We take care of our spiritual children in faith. We birthed them spiritually and we are not abandoning them after their birth. We have to disciple them and teach them so that they may grow in the knowledge of God and become missionary also like us.

V - BLESSING

"that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you"

There is always blessing in obedience to God's call
