The Lordship Of Jesus

Summary: The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
If your life is not founded on Jesus Christ, it doesn’t matter how many times you win, you will lose at the end. The man whose foundation is built on Jesus Christ will win at the end. Never let your life be founded on your job, business, children, husband, wife, money or any material thing, because all these things will pass away with time. Any success that is not founded on Christ is not a success at all. How you finish in life is more important than how you started. Winners are determined at the finish line, not at the beginning. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says; “The fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle.”
Jesus said, “everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash” (Matthew 7:24-27).
There is nothing worth living for, except for Jesus Christ. There is nothing this world can offer, that is greater than Jesus Christ. He is peace, joy, strength, love, rest, knowledge, health, healing, life, grace, mercy, wealth, honor, riches & glory personified, and finding him is finding everything. God the Father has answered every human cry in Jesus Christ, he is the answer to everything. No wonder David wrote, The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold (Psalm 18:2). In Psalm 40:2 he wrote; He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
