The Lord was angry with me
Deuteronomy 3:26"But the LORD was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me; and the LORD said to me, 'Enough! Speak to Me no more of this matter.”
You know what, the common phrase that we hear today is ‘why is God angry with us’ but here we see Moses confessing ‘the Lord was angry with me.’ Amen. This is a repented heart and not a rebellious heart that would like to hide ‘pumpkin sized’ sins under the sand and pretend that everything is normal. One particular demon possessed woman got delivered through my ministry but she refused to grow in the Lord, would never come to church, read the Bible or respect the servants of God who were responsible for her deliverance. Well, after a couple of years she had a brain hemorrhage and died while in coma, now when I called up the family, they screamed at me, “why did God do this to us?” Many do the same today, it is time that we examine our life, accept our shortcomings every day and get straight with God. Are you listening to me?
Job did that for his kids, he prayed like this, he did not want God to be angry with his children: Job 1:5” rising up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, "Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." Thus Job did continually.” All dads and mom reading this message, did you hear this? You got to pray for your kids like that, getting admission in international school is not important, put your children in the Sunday class, if not they would have boyfriends/ girlfriends at the age of 8. Yes, warning! Enough we have been comfortable and complacent for too long and that’s why we have ‘Corona’ come to wake us up! The Bible said: Exodus 15:7 "And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You; You send forth Your burning anger, and it consumes them as chaff.”
A phenomenal leader Moses, who went through so many afflictions, persecutions, pain, agony in the wilderness because of his calling as a leader for about 6 lakh people and he had to also jump over dead bodies in the wilderness and continue to lead the people but God looked at such a leader and said, ‘enough, Speak to Me no more of this matter?’ We should know this side of our God who does not accept nonsense and disobedience, further He expects His servants to show responsibility and accountability, as Christians and believers we have a role to play in this time of crisis when plague has hit the world. Think of the nights that you spent playing cards with your friends, the time who spent several hours watching movie, chatting, gossiping and what not, at least NOW repent:
1 John 1:9“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.”
Many are scared to touch the subject’ God is angry with us’ just in case they trigger fear in the mind of the people, this is safe zone; nevertheless, when would the people listen to the Truth, know the Truth and realize their sins? People love my messages as long as it is comforting, soothing and lovely, the moment I talk about punishment that follows idol worship, adultery, corruption and righteousness then they BLOCK me. Yes this is true.
JEREMIAH: Jeremiah cried, Jeremiah 20:9” But if I say, "I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. Yes, he was persecuted for telling the truth to the people, at one particular time the leaders came against Jeremiah, read:
Jeremiah 38:2 "Thus says the LORD, 'He who stays in this city will die by the sword and by famine and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans will live and have his own life as booty and stay alive.'
3 "Thus says the LORD, 'This city will certainly be given into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon and he will capture it.'"
4 Then the officials said to the king, "Now let this man be put to death, inasmuch as he is discouraging the men of war who are left in this city and all the people, by speaking such words to them; for this man is not seeking the well-being of this people but rather their harm."
