Psalm 105:7-15 The Lord's My Shepherd

1. His Sovereignty - 7 He is the Lord our God:

It's - Paternal - He, Pepetual - is, Powerful - the Lord, Personal - our God

2. His Sanctity - his judgments -

They're - Infallible, Impeccable, implacable, Ineffable, Immutable, and Invincible.

3. His Supremacy - his judgments are in all the earth.

Their - Scope, Scan, Scale, Scrutiny and Score.

4. His Strategy -

The Period of The Covenant - 8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

The Parties of The Covenant -

It's Commencement - 9 Which covenant he made with Abraham,

The Proof of The Covenant -

It's Confirmation - By An Oath - 9 and his oath unto Isaac;

By An Ordinance - 10 and confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law,

By An Ongoing - and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:

The People of The Covenant -

11 saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

The Privilege - Unto thee,

The Promise - will I give,

The Place - land of Canaan,

The Purpose - the lot of your inheritance

It's Conclusion

The Power of The Covenant -

Fulfilled Even If Few - 12 when they were but a few men in number;

Fulfilled Even If Foreigners - yea, very few, and strangers in it.

Fulfilled Even If Friendless -

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

Fulfilled Even If Fearful -

14 he suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

Fulfilled Even If Feeble -

15 saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

5. His Sufficiency - The Protection of The Covenant - God's Will To -

Retain Affinity -

13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

Restrain Adversity - 14 he suffered no man to do them wrong:

Reprove Authority - yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

Rebuke Audacity - 15 saying, Touch not mine anointed,

Remove Anxiety - and do my prophets no harm.

6. His Surety - Isaiah 41:9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed;

for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
