Contributed by Rodney Johnson Sr., on May 14, 2016 (message contributor)
Summary: The text teaches us that God's grace is Amazing even when man is at his worst.
The Cross is a place of theological fruits that we must always gather:
There was the cross of Rebellion
There was the cross of Repentance
There was the cross of Redemption
One died to sin.
One died in sin.
One died for sin..
One deserved death and got life.
One deserved death and got death.
One deserved life and accepted death.
I. The dying Thief was Jesus ' s last companion on Earth.
II. He Changed While Dying. He asked the Lord for what He couldn't Steal.
III . He Lived without Christ but Died with Him.
IV. He ran out of time but Jesus did not run out of grace.
V. Jesus promised the thief life while giving His life.
VI. One Thief changed while the other was hardened.
VII. The Thief died with a living faith in Jesus and His Kingdom.
Conclusion: We must never lose hope in God's saving power. No matter how dark it gets.
