AGITATION: WALKING THROUGH THE PEARLY GATES…

*Agitation: anger, very worried, upset, a state of anxiety, nervous, to stir up, disturbing, restlessness, to argue, quickly frustrated. Severe agitation can be a mark of being bipolar and depression.

JESUS IS TEACHING FROM THE MOUNT OF OLIVES

Revelation 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

UNDERSTAND A GREAT LESSON: TO ENTER THE REALM OF THE CELESTIAL CITY THERE ARE 12 GATES… YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE GATES OF PEARL.

*DEFINE PEARL: Pearls are formed from a process from imperfections. A piece of sand, a broken shell, a parasite or bacteria damage the cells in an oyster. When a foreign object enters the oyster’s shell the oyster starts secreting a coating to cover the foreign intruder. The oyster will make protective layers to protect its life. With time many layers

OF AGITATION CAN PRODUCE THOUSANDS OF LAYERS in a few years. We must allow the creation of something beautiful from the suffering and brokenness. So the PEARL IS A SYMBOL OF TROUBLE TO PERFECTION.

Matthew 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: 46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

From the obstacle there is created a shiny translucent ball. God covers us with his protective wings. We must survive life’s crushing to our weaknesses and we will find the beauty of our weakness will display God’s greatness.

THE PEARL SPEAKS OF THE JOURNEY OF LIFE WHERE WHAT WILL DESTROY WILL CREATE A VALUABLE LIKENESS OF JESUS.

WILL WE RECOGNIZE GOD USES OUR PAIN, HURT, BITTERNESS AND BROKENNESS TO DEVELOP A PEARL OF GREAT PRICE. We must understand there are GATES OF PEARL THAT WE MUST WALK THROUGH TO ENTER THE NEW JERUSALEM. These gates are the opportunity to leave behind the earth’s suffering, pain and brokenness.

LET THE IGNORANT STAY IGNORANT. WE MAKE CHOICES, HOUSE ON THE SAND VS. HOUSE ON THE ROCK.

1 Corinthians 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

LEARN THE POWER OF THE SIFTER. THE PEARL IN THE BIBLE IS SYMBOLIC OF SUFFERING AND BROKENNESS.

MANY REFUSE TO UNDERSTAND VALUE… THEY WILL TRADE TREASURES FOR TRINKETS.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

WARNING, WARNING. Remember the Robot in LOST IN SPACE? WARNING, WARNING WILL SMITH? In this Bible reading we find Jesus warning his disciples to preach to people that appreciate and will be receptive to the word.

We must learn to not waste good things on those that will not appreciate them. There are many that will refuse to learn the lessons that life teaches…

MAN’S WISDOM MIGHT JUST BE FOOLISHNESS. WE MUST CONTROL OUR EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS. YOUR AGITATION CAN PRODUCE UGLY SCARS.

I PRAYED 3 TIMES TO BE EXEMPT. PERHAPS AT MY WEAKEST POINT GOD WILL EXPOSE HIS POWER. GOD DESIRES US TO RELY ON HIM.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

WE MUST ALLOW JESUS CHRIST TO DOMINATE AND WALK IN HIS POWER AND STRENGTH.

GIDEON ALMOST MISSED HIS BLESSINGS BY CLAIMING HIS WEAKNESSES, HIS FAMILY’S WEAKNENESSES. GIDEON RECOGNIZED HIS WEAKNESSES AND THE ENEMY’S STRENGTH. GIDEON COULD NOT SEE LIFE IS A PROCESS. WE WILL BE TESTED.

THE TEST OF UNDERSTANDING THE PEARL? WHY? WHY? GIDEON 30,000 TO 300?

God wanted Israel to TRUST HIS PLAN… GOD’S IDEA WAS SIMPLE. YOU MUST REDUCE YOUR STRENGTH TO RELY ON GOD’S PLAN.

Judges 7:2 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me. 3. Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.

STILL TOO MANY…

JUDGES 7:4 And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go.
