The Judgment Of God

I. There is a judgment of God for everyone

Ecc_12:14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Gal_6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

II. There is in this world one who convicts us of our sin

Joh_16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:

Joh_16:11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

III. Eternal judgment is decided in this world

Rom_2:5 But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

2Co_5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Heb_9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

1Pe_4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

IV. God spares no one who rejects Him

2Pe_2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;

V. We do not have to suffer the effects of sin alone

2Pe_2:9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,

VI. Judgment is coming

Jud 1:14 It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones,

Jud 1:15 to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him."

VII. Grace and recue is available.

Gen 7:4 For in seven days I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing that I have made I will blot out from the face of the ground."

Gen_6:18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.
