THE "I WILLS" OF CHRIST

3. I Will Confess You Before My Father

Matt. 10:32-33-“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

4. I Will Send

John 16:7-Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

7-Nevertheless I tell you the truth (Real, Reality); It is expedient for you that I go away (Best, Advantage): for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you (Holy Spirit-Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Strengthener); but if I depart, I will send him unto you (Close Fellowship).

5. I Will Make

Matt. 4:19-Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Everyone is fishing for something

Jesus is fishing for souls

What are you fishing for?

Types of fishing

Hook and line - personal soul winning

Net – partnering together with a group of people to fill the boat

Jesus is looking for those who will follow Him.

To be a partner with Jesus, you have to leave something

1-They left their nets

2-They left their boat

3-They left their father

What is it that is holding you back?

6. I Will Do

John 14:13-14-And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

7. I Will Draw

John 12:32-33-And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”

This He said, signifying by what death He would die.

John 12:32-33-when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.” 33 He said this to indicate how he was going to die. (NLT)

8. I Will Come

Rev. 3:3-Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
