The Holy Lord Honor Mothers

Surely, I might say the most profound passages in the Scriptures wherefore fundamentally revealeth our Holy Lord’s blessed endearment for mothers are in the blessed pages of Christ Jesus with His mother, Mary and in the wisdom of King Solomon.

In 1 Kings 3:16-28, the passage describes a most stunning plot of a desperate mother removing a child out of the loving bosom of his sleeping mother’s arms to claim him as her own. The wise king judges this dramatic case and at its conclusion we read how wisdom might goeth before for a righteous judgment which conclusively revealed the purity and sacrifice of a mother’s heart.

This most startling Biblical account defining the heart of a mother might giveth mothers' comfort and knowledge of what our most Holy One hath imparted into the heart of His Daughters.

And in the Gospels, as we examine the relationship with Christ and His mother it is perhaps on the Cross with the Blessed Master’ emphatic and final Decision concerning her care that also continue to speaketh of His everlasting love for us. For it is there, the mother of our Lord was remembered when He Spake to His Beloved Disciple, “Behold thy mother”. John 19:26-27

And so, surely our Holy Lord honors the immeasurable gift of a mother and blesses with a commandment she is revered. Amen.
