TOPIC: THE GOOD SHEPHERD

John 10:11King James Version (KJV)

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Beloved, we serve a Lord who does not only talk but talks and does what He says. We serve a Jesus who does not only speak of laying down our lives for one another but He has gone ahead to lay down His life for us first.

Beloved, any Shepherd called into the vineyard of the Lord to watch over God's flock is to have the desire, spirit and will to lay down his life for the flock.

Beloved, we are all shepherds in one area or the other for various flocks of God and therefore we are being called upon to look at Jesus, the good shepherd to live our lives.

That, we can lay down our lives at anytime for the flock we are shepherding. Therefore beloved pray for your flock, stand in the gap for them and be their intercessor.

Beloved we have slept for far too long, we need to rise and rebuke the storm for the sake of the flock, we need to deal with the lion and the bear like David did for the sake of the flock, we need to conquer every demon, witch or principalities or powers who are against us and the flock as Jesus did and made a public spectacle of them.

We have all authority and power to defeat anything at all in Jesus name. We have the blood of Jesus at our disposal to use to defeat every enemy. He has given us all we need and we can face anything at all.

Don't be a wimp, don't fear anything, be bold, confident and fierce have your lion part come alive in battle and your lamb part in your sacrificial duties. You need these two faces to be a good shepherd. Jesus has both and so do you, use both wisely and correctly according to the leading of Precious Holy Spirit.

You can have these work in your life perfectly when you know and acknowledge that *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else.

Prayer: Father Lord, please empower me to be a good shepherd in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
