Job 32:1-12 (MSG)

Job's three friends now fell silent. They were talked out, stymied because Job wouldn't budge an inch—wouldn't admit to an ounce of guilt.

2 Then Elihu lost his temper. (Elihu was the son of Barakel the Buzite from the clan of Ram.) He blazed out in anger against Job for pitting his righteousness against God's.

3 He was also angry with the three friends because they had neither come up with an answer nor proved Job wrong.

4 Elihu had waited with Job while they spoke because they were all older than he.

5 But when he saw that the three other men had exhausted their arguments, he exploded with pent-up anger.

6 This is what Elihu, son of Barakel the Buzite, said: "I'm a young man, and you are all old and experienced. That's why I kept quiet and held back from joining the discussion.

7 I kept thinking, 'Experience will tell. The longer you live, the wiser you become.'

8 But I see I was wrong—it's God's Spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible.

9 The experts have no corner on wisdom; getting old doesn't guarantee good sense.

10 So I've decided to speak up. Listen well! I'm going to tell you exactly what I think.

11 "I hung on your words while you spoke, listened carefully to your arguments. While you searched for the right words,

12 I was all ears. And now what have you proved? Nothing. Nothing you say has even touched Job.

THE WORD OF GOD FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD

(THE DANGER OF LISTENING TO BAD ADVICE)

MY BROTHERS AND MY SISTERS

THE STORY OF JOB SEEMS TO BE SAD SAGA WITH NO END IN SIGHT

BECAUSE JOB IS DEALING WITH PROBLEMS AFTER PROBLEMS

AND EVEN WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORDS OF JOB

THE CONCEPT OF BEING BIPOLAR COMES TO MIND `

BECAUSE SOME DAYS HE SEEMS TO BE BOTH ENCOURAGED AND CONVINCED THAT GOD IS WORKING HIS SITUATION OUT FOR THE GOOD

THEN THERE ARE OTHER DAYS WHEN IT SEEMS THAT JOB IS ON VERGE THE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

IN OTHER WORDS

THE SAME JOB IN CHAPTER 1 WHO WORSHIP GOD

JOB THE ONE WHO WAS BOUNCING BACK FROM HIS SETBACK

THE SAME JOB WHO SAID THE LORD GIVES AND THE LORD TAKETH AWAY

IS THE SAME JOB IN CHAPTER 32 WHO IS UNABLE TO KEEP HIS HEAD IN THE RACE CALL LIFE

AND ALL OF US IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD

UNDERSTANDS HOW JOB FEELS

BECAUSE IN THE TEXT BEFORE US JOB IS FED UP WITH HIS FRIENDS

HE HAS LOST HIS FAMILY AND THE ONLY ONE LEFT IS HIS WIFE AND SHE`S TALKING CRAZY

JOB HAS NO WORDS FOR GOD OR HIS FRIENDS AND HIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSER INSTEAD OF BETTER

HIS FINANCES ARE NOT GETTING BETTER

HIS BEHAVIOR IS NOT GETTING BETTER

MARRIAGE NOT GETTING BETTER

PAIN IS NOT GETTING BETTER

HIS OVERALL PROBLEM IS NOT GETTING ANY BETTER

AND JOB IS NOT IN THIS BOAT ALONE

BECAUSE IT`S SOMEONE HERE UNDER THE SOUND OF MY WEAK VOICE

AND YOU ARE IN THE MIDIST OF A SITUATION

AND IT SEEMS AS IF YOUR SIUATION IS NOT GETTING ANY BETTER

BUT I STOP BY ________ THIS MORNING /EVENING TO LET YOU KNOW

NO MATTER HOW BAD YOUR SITUATION LOOKS TO YOU

GOD ALWAYS HAS A WORD FOR YOUR SITUATION

YOU SEE SOME PEOPLE COME TO THE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE FOR FELLOWSHIP

SOME COMES TO BE CUTEY ON DUTY

AND I DON`T KNOW ABOUT YOU

BUT I COME BECAUSE I NEED A WORD FROM THE LORD

AND DON`T GET IT TWISTED UP IN HERE ....UP IN HERE

BECAUSE I LOVE THE FELLOWSHIP

I LOVE THE PRAYING AND SINGING

BUT I`M HERE BECAUSE I NEED A WORD FROM GOD FOR MY SITUATION

BECAUSE IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER HEARD CAME FROM THE WORD OF GOD

ADVICE LIKE

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

ADVICE LIKE

Psalm 37:25 (KJV)

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

ADVICE LIKE

1 John 4:4 (KJV)

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
