Galatians 6: 12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

The cross is the crossroad of man kind.

We have here God’s revelation of man’s worst and God’s best.

Man’s sin and God’s salvation.

Man’s hate and God’s love.

Man’s wickedness and God’s rightousness.

Man’s fall and God’s up lift.

Man’s weakness and God’s strength.

Satan’s purpose and God’s power.

Hell’s punishment and Heavens paradise

God talks over our salvation with us as sinners.

(1) Revelation of God’s redemption.

His love for his creation.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Longing of God for his companion.

Looking to the finished work of calvary.

(2) Restoration of man’s fallen relation.

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are created in his image.

Cursed by our fall.

Cured by the new birth.

(3) Requirements of man’s regeneration.

Romans 5: 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Knowledge of lost state.

Believing repenting turning our life around.

Excepting the Lord Jesus as our Lord and saviour.

(4) Remedy for man’s rebellion.

John 3: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Suffering for our sins.

Sacrifice himself for our sins.

Salvation acquired for all believers.

(5) Reminder of man’s ruin.

Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Depraved because of sin.

Departed from God.

Death passed upon all.

(6) Results of repentance.

1st John 3: 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Heir of God joint heir with Christ.

Hope of glory, bright and sure.

Home awaiting in heaven.

( 7) Reunion in heaven.

Revelations 21: 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
