The Christian Race
Contributed by Dr.w.samuel Legon on Sep 9, 2011 (message contributor)
Summary: We need to run as hard as we can for the Lord
THE CHRISTIAN RACE
Hebrews 12
1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The flag goes down the very moment we are saved, and from that glorious moment forward, until the flag falls at the finish line when our journey is over ,we are in a Christian race run the very best you can.
1. THE CONTEST AND THE RULES.
