I. EXORDIUM:

How precious is the blood of CHRIST?

II. AUDIENCE PROFILE:

Believers

III. OBJECTIVES:

To show the effective power of the blood of CHRIST in our daily walk with GOD.

IV. TEXT:

Hebrews 9:14 (Amplified Bible)

9:14 How much more surely shall the blood of CHRIST, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own pre-existent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

(Contemporary English Version)

But CHRIST was sinless, and he offered himself as an eternal and spiritual sacrifice to God. That's why his blood is much more powerful and makes our consciences clear. Now we can serve the living God and no longer do things that lead to death.

V. THESIS:

Thank You very much because Your blood made me spiritually mature, perfected, cleansed, renewed my spirit and removed the guilt, consciousness of sin, evil conscience.

The blood of CHRIST cleanses our consciences from dead works

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. The blood of CHRIST'S Greatness and effective power offered to GOD as Perfect Sacrifice

"How much more surely shall the blood of CHRIST, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God,"

How much, more in a greater degree shall the blood of CHRIST has power offered by GOD Himself to GOD as unblemished sacrifice, far more greater in infinity than the blood of bulls and goats. There's no comparison between the blood of CHRIST and the blood of animals, because the latter came from the Divine and the Divine chooses to offer Himself to the Divine.

Hebrews 9:12 (Amplified Bible)

9:12 He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us).

1 Peter 1:19 (Amplified Bible)

1:19 But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.

1 John 1:7 (Amplified Bible)

1:7 But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

As long as we remain in the light, as He is in the Light and Light, His own blood constantly cleanses us from all sins in all it's forms and manifestations. I watched "Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince" and one of the lines there is "light existed because of darkness.." something like that as if the light was indebted to darkness for it's existence. While it's absolutely wrong, because light means absence of darkness, as we believe according to Genesis 1:2-3 and John 1:5, yes we needed the Light, that is CHRIST because this world is in darkness, but darkness never liked the light anyways.

Genesis 1:2-3 (Amplified Bible)

1:2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

1:3 And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.

John 1:5 (Amplified Bible)

1:5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

Remain in the light or rather remain in CHRIST and CHRIST'S blood will constantly cleanse you from all dead works, no longer will you do anything at all that will lead to death, but all things you will do will lead to life and life eternal.

John 10:10 (The Message)

10:10 A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

Without the blood, there's no forgiveness of sins.

Matthew 26:28 (Amplified Bible)

26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
