The Blessed Believer.

Psalm 91:1-16NLT

Some of the most powerful words in the world are found in Psalm 91. If God’s word is all powerful—You know, God breathed, then this Psalm should be memorized by every believer. Decide right now—fall in love with Jesus and His eternal word, you’ll not be short-changed. P.H

Psalm 91, is about faith, and describes the perfect security of one who trusts in the Lord.

Psalm 91:1NLT Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Where is the shelter of the Most High? It’s found in the meditation in God’s word, It’s living by faith just as close as you can, talking and walking—a God walk.

Psalm 119:114NKJV You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

Isaiah 31:5GNT Just as a bird hovers over its nest to protect its young, so I, the LORD Almighty, will protect Jerusalem and defend it."

Living in the “Hiding Place” is a continue source of strength. In other words, “His hiding place becomes your shelter!”

Psalm 91:2NLT This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.

This should always be a believer’s declaration: “I declare You're my refuge; I declare, You're my place of safety—I declare You're my God, I will declare, that I will trust in God.”

In Psalm 91:1-2, The psalmist employs four Hebrew names of God.

Elyon—The Most High.

Shaddai—The Almighty.

Yahweh—The Lord.

Elohim—My God.

By making this one declaration, you’re fulfilling the first 3 commandments in the Bible.

Love only God.

Make no graven image.

Never take God’s name in vain.

If you decide to get a little radical, declare God’s name, lift up the name of Jesus! P.H

Psalm 91:3NLT For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

If God’s assignment for you includes Divine Protection, while living in His shelter, then so be it.

* He will recuse you from every trap.

He will protect you from deadly diseases.

Psalm 91:3KJV Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Psalm 91:3TPT He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusations—deadly traps and any deadly curses.

These are the foes of faith—traps and fatal plagues. Verse 3, expresses, God rescues and protects.

“If you’re born again, you’ve been awakened, it’s time for born-again believers to ask God for discernment. “One of the gifts of the spirit found in 1 Corinthians 12, is discernment.’

‘God gives us the ability to discern the times, places and people we are with. All discernment is for His glory.” P.H

Psalm 91:4NLT is the beginning verse that shows us the fruit of faith. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

God offers—Divine Protec.tion

Psalm 125:1-2NKJV Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.

Of course, God through His only Son offers free salvation to anyone who will.

1 John 2:2NASB and He Himself is the propitiation (atoning sacrifice) for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Say this, “Jesus satisfied all—my sin debt is paid in full.”

Colossians 2:10, You have been made complete in Jesus Christ.

Your completion will only be found in Jesus, no where else.

Psalm 91:5-6NLT Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

The psalmist command is for believer’s to be not afraid of the terrors of night, do not be afraid of arrows that fly in the day. Do not dread diseases that stalk in the darkness, Do not dread disaster that can strike at anytime.

Fear is not of God. 2 Timothy 1:7NLT For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

God’s wanting me to give you a word, “You’re not some kind of misguided person just getting by, No, you are My child, and I’m making you Mine, All Mine.”

Psalm 91:7NLT Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

In the coming days, according to God’s Holy Word, Great devastation will produce plagues.

Again Verse 7, these evils will not touch you.

In Revelation 1-5, The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is represented by 7 churches in Asia Minor. Most Theologians agree that these 7 churches are a type, or shadow of every modern day church.
