Support Your Local Pastor...

Dear FRIEND! HELP! DON’T ALLOW A MAN OF GOD TO DROWN...

Many preachers have a crisis after years of ministry.

Preachers are hurting and they do not know how to find relief.

They may act strong before the people, but broken behind the scenes...

I have been in ministry several years and there can grow a self-defense mode and self-denial that I can make it on my own... Minister’s need to be ministered to... this is a fact...

One can feel like everyone is attacking them. We can grow passive, or defensive?

Many times there are people around the preacher that are called to lift the hands which hang down and instead of helping they add to the hurt and become critics.

God does not need HEAD SHRINKERS... but God needs lifters of the arms...

Anger and bitterness can become a terrible wedge and the distance grows

and healing seems to elude our faith. We have dreamed? Our dreams are dashed?

Love and understanding and GREAT PATIENCE become the tools that see God’s

man escape these traps of the enemy...

Of course there is the WORD OF GOD... and much prayer. God needs a vehicle of truth.

Pastors can be hurting and the very foundation under them seems to shake...

Hur lifted the arms of Moses...

Paul had men that held the ropes when he was a basket case...

Long term ministry cost. Often our dreams fade, our hopes die, and we ponder...

I GUESS I HAVE FAILED... what is the use ? I have been there and done that...

Well, if I fail may I fail for Jesus, may I fall forward...

As a God called help mate to the pastor --- your compassion can make a difference...

Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

I want to make a difference... The Preacher’s giants have been mocking him...

He knows many of his years are gone... but we must grow a support structure around the man

of God so that the spiritual and mental renewal and refreshing that can come from God are possible...

Bitterness tends to yield to frustration, and the snowball grows... self-doubt, fears within,

fears without, the shadows grow and the heart breaks...

If Paul had not had those that held his basket as he went over the wall, his ministry and some

of the New Testament that Paul penned would have been lost. There is a pastor today

dying? The temptations grow, the goals dim... That pastor needs you...

If you could see yourself as a missionary, God called and enabled to build the man

of God strong... sure one needs wisdom... God promised to give wisdom to those that seek...

Your pastor needs you... God needs you... the church needs you... I need you...

You need to stretch your faith and grow the man of God...

Pastor’s family’s and the church often see the man more than they see the man of God...

What is the real issue here? The real issue is the enemy is trying to kill the man of God and

his influence... you must see beyond the man to see the GOD OF THE MAN...

This is not about the pastor, nor is it about the church... this is about the battle between

LIGHT and darkness... ETERNITIY... souls in hell? souls in heaven? It is up to you!

Do you understand INVESTMENT? TO ME INVESTMENT TODAY MEANS I MIGHT

NOT SEE PROFITS FOR SOME TIME PERIOD... You need to invest love and understanding

today in the man of God even if you can’t see the returns for a long time...

Study DOEG in the Bible? Probably won’t? But I asked you to...

Doeg was an Edomite... an angry, bitter man, his anger was a family issue that had been passed on

for many generations...

The EPHOD was a symbol of GIVING AND TRUE WORSHIP.

In one day DOEG ALMOST WIPED OUT THE PRIESTHOOD... 85 preachers were killed, the ephod was almost destroyed... giving and worship was in jeopardy, but GOD HAD ONE MAN

SURVIVE THE STORM... ABIATHAR...

David took the preacher into his cave at ADDULLAM AND PROMISED TO GIVE,

SUPPORT AND PROTECT THE PREACHER...

The preacher was fragile and near his end.

David’s love and support grew ABIATHAR--- where he became the HIGH PRIEST and served

God as His man many years... Me thinks God has called you to DANCE LIKE DAVID...

TO HELP SUPPORT THE STRUGGLING MAN OF GOD AND ESTABLISH HIM FIRM...

Encourage! edify! grow! Turn a man into THE MAN OF GOD.

The preacher had no visible means of support. Read Mark 2:23--27 Where the New Testament records the mission work of Abiathar giving to David and David giving to Abiathar...

Don’t give up on the man of God... don’t see the down side of man and refuse to grow the man of God... men of God are men... human, weak, fragile, frail, until there grows a support system
