We're going to kick things off with a passage from the book of Daniel, specifically Daniel 1:8. It goes a little something like this, "But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way."

In the heart of Babylon, Daniel found himself surrounded by a culture that was vastly different from his own.
